ABOUT NEOSPHERE
The Neosphere is a an indi/alt/punk entity that focuses on remind society the importance of practicing creativity and, as by-product, remind creatives the value of their practices. By embracing ethical entrepreneurship, organizing community, polishing our skills collectively, and striving to create opportunities for everyone that might not fit the conventional look or come from a certain background (e.g. minorities, special needs, immigrants, up and coming artist, etc) we are attempting to create paths and a blueprint to local individual/communal success and encourage society to apply creativity more often to our regular life.
With all that said, we don’t believe in creating for the mare sake of profit. Money matters but not if it means sacrificing our world or letting profit hungry corporations do as they like. We believe anything to be created here should practice awareness as the highest priority and not contribute to oppression, pollution, animal cruelty, social inequality, psychological abuse and radicalization of mentalities.
We are certainly no savior, nor do we have the answers and we are absolutely not looking for the easiest path to a better future. We are simply regular a** people, but, we have faith in creation, and belive that thinking creatively is what has proven time and time again, to be the reason for real progress and a better future to come into reality.
Neosphere is simply an eternal canvas of undetermined, always changing and updating, material, for all of creation to contribute generationally and strategically for the future that is meant to be...or so, is more or less the vision.
To be completely honest, we don’t really know what we are doing, or how to go about it. When we say “we” we mean 3 people, mom, daughter and son, who enjoy getting creative together. We are ultimately really grateful to live in a country where we can dream for a better world and attempt to do something like the neosphere. If it becomes what we have imagine for it, great, but creating memories, having fun and socializing while practicing some artistic stuff, is rewarding enough for us. Like we are really just forcing our selves to do the things we like, take a break from our personal mental bubble, and care about social causes, for at least one day out of our week. In a sense we are attempting to build a safe-creative work space, where we can feel more comfortable being uncomfortable, making mistakes, being imperfect, having things not be as convenient or easy and be inspired by the idea of an improved world. We are really not your standard good, at any artistic stuff, we have never found the means or a palace to pursue those passions so this is our personal attempt to practice it more our selves and share with others.
